Works with Google Assistant
Updated June 2026

As smart home technology becomes more accessible in the Philippines, the standard for convenience has evolved. It is no longer enough to just pull out your smartphone to check your cameras. If you are cooking dinner in the kitchen and the doorbell rings, pulling out a phone with messy hands is frustrating.

This is why all premium Wi-Fi Security Cameras from HomeSecurityPH are natively integrated with the Google Home Ecosystem. By linking our cameras to your Google Assistant, your voice becomes the ultimate remote control for your home's security.

1. Streaming to Google Nest Hub

The Google Nest Hub is a smart display usually kept on a kitchen counter or a bedside table. It acts as the command center for modern smart homes.

Once you link your HomeSecurityPH cameras to the Google Home app, you unlock powerful voice commands. If you hear a noise outside late at night, you don't need to fumble in the dark for your phone. Simply say:

"Hey Google, show me the Garage Camera."

Within seconds, the Nest Hub screen will switch from displaying a clock to streaming the live 1080p feed from your garage. When you are done checking, you simply say, "Hey Google, stop." This hands-free convenience provides unparalleled peace of mind.

2. Casting CCTV to Your TV via Chromecast

Perhaps you are watching a movie in the living room with your family, and you are waiting for a GrabFood delivery to arrive. You don't want to keep pausing the movie to check your phone.

If your television has a Google Chromecast plugged in (or if it is a modern Android/Google TV with built-in Chromecast), you can cast your security feed directly to the big screen.

Say to your phone or your smart speaker: "Hey Google, show the Front Gate camera on the Living Room TV."

Google will automatically pause your Netflix movie and pull up the live CCTV feed on your 65-inch screen. Once you see the delivery driver arrive, you can dismiss the feed and resume your movie.

3. Voice Controlling Smart Locks (With Security)

Our integration goes beyond just cameras. You can also connect your Wi-Fi Smart Locks to Google Home.

A common concern homeowners have is: "What if an intruder stands outside my window and yells 'Hey Google, unlock the front door'?"

Google and HomeSecurityPH have engineered a strict security protocol to prevent this. While you can lock the door with a simple voice command ("Hey Google, lock the front door"), unlocking the door requires an extra layer of authentication.

If you say, "Hey Google, unlock the front door," the Assistant will respond: "Can I have your security code?" You must verbally state a specific 4-digit PIN code (that you configure in the app) before the deadbolt will release. If the code is incorrect, the door remains locked.

4. How to Link Your Cameras to Google Home

Setting up the integration takes less than two minutes. You do not need to be a tech expert.

  1. Set Up the Camera: First, install your HomeSecurityPH camera and connect it to your home Wi-Fi using our native Smart Life / Tuya mobile app. Ensure you name the camera clearly (e.g., "Living Room Camera" or "Backyard").
  2. Open Google Home: Open the Google Home app on your smartphone and tap the "+" icon to add a new device.
  3. Link the Account: Select "Works with Google." Search for "Smart Life" or "Tuya Smart" in the list of partners.
  4. Authorize: Log in with your Smart Life account credentials. Google will automatically import all your cameras and smart locks into the Google Home app.
  5. Assign Rooms: Assign your newly imported cameras to specific rooms in your Google Home app (e.g., place the "Garage Camera" in the "Garage" room). You are now ready to use voice commands!
